Child rights in Nigeria is nothing to write home about. Almost on a daily basis, I see children who should be in schoool during school hours, being used as hawkers on our high ways, endangering the lives of these young ones to unwarranted risks. When on my way to school in the morning, I see young people between the ages of 10 and 15, under various bridges in Lagos State, Just waking up from their harzardeous sleep and what they plan for is how they can make the day's cash by pick-pocketing. I think something would have to be done by stakeholders, especially those of us who are not happy with the way things are going. I hope that everyone who reads this will rise to the challenge of bringing an end to the flagrant abuse of child rights. Thanks
